Activities on the health care market
Next to the corporate market, Limarex is also active on the health care and non-for profit market since 2009. Belgian hospitals indeed are short of nursing staff. For the single Flanders region, the Flemish Public Employment and Vocational Training Service (VDAB) speaks of a shortage of more than 1.100 nurses in hospitals and rest homes. Limarex also has a commercial spin-off: “Flanders Engineers” (FLE). FLE was founded by Limarex and 3 front-rank engineers from the K VIV (Royal Flemisch Society of Engineers) in november 2007. Flanders Engineers represents fifty senior crisis managers, all university trained engineers with an extensive multisector track record , which can be called in for temporary projects in industrial and high-tech contexts.
